Living a location liberated lifestyle means you’ve got a few housing options to choose from. I covered most of em here.
So far we’ve used a combo of short-term furnished rentals and extended stay hotels (blech!). We did the rustic, backyard-botanical-garden cottage in Sarasota, Florida with wild moonlit drum circles on the beach.
Then we did the top floor, sun-drenched terrace apartment in Charlottenburg, Berlin, Germany. And the plush-purple-couch rock-star flat in Friedrichshain…also in Berlin. More recently, we did the charming, garden-tub condo near Forsyth Park in Savannah, Georgia.
But now–for the first time ever–we’re doing the couch-surfing thing. Literally.
Our bed for the last few weeks has been the sleeper couch at Wonder Woman’s house (a.k.a good friend and truly wonder-ful person, Janessa). And it’s been a lot of fun. We’re all getting along…even the dogs. It’s downtown, and more importantly, it ain’t a depressing extended stay.
Funny how I forgot that it can be fun having a roommate.
